Love by Hafiz

Even after all this time
The sun never says to the earth,
"You owe Me."

Look what happens with
A love like that,
It lights the Whole Sky.

This was written by Hafiz and is both simple and beautiful. It is quite possibly my favorite poem/verse ever written. It speaks such volume with so few words. Sometimes we need to remember that the people who love us the most do such great things in our life which can go unnoticed. This poem is a constant reminder to appreciate those i care about the most. I hope it inspires you.

Another quick picture i knocked up.

  3. I often find it to be the simplest of poems that have the most power, because they condense a grand message into only a few lines. Amazing stuff. Thanks for sharing.

  8. Funny how I like to use photoshop often but I'm not an artist. I use it to crop, filter, and generally fix-up pictures for my blog and flash games.

  9. Oops, posted that earlier comment onto the wrong article.

As for this one, that's a very interesting thought. But, if the universe were indeed created, I wouldn't assume that the universe was created out of no need by the creator, etc. It's possible or probable that whatever function we do or will perform is 'payment' in some way for the creation of the stars.
